The answer

Our bodies naturally produce cannabinoid molecules (Endocannabinoids)
that form part of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), one of many systems that help us achieve homeostasis, a state of balance between our most critical physiological functions, by facilitating the communication between cells.

Endocannabinoids behave like traffic lights to help regulate inter-cell communication for sleep, temperature control, pain management, as well as inflammatory and immune responses. Scientists have recently discovered exogenous cannabinoids like Phytocannabinoids, found in the Cannabis Sativa, L. plant, which work in the same way as those naturally produced by humans.

There are over one hundred Phytocannabinoids compounds, ranging from those with psychoactive effects (e.g. Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC) to the non-psychoactive kind, like Cannabidiol (CBD) and Cannabigerol (CBG).

Phytocannabinoids have received much research attention in recent years, due to their effects on pain, inflammation, emotion, memory, sleep, and metabolic function, among other physiological processes. Studies have demonstrated benefits ranging from producing analgesic, antiepileptic, anxiolytic, antipsychotic, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective effects.

The complexity of the plant is more than just in its chemical composition, and a major area of investigation is in the combined therapeutic impact of more than one or many cannabinoid compounds acting together, often referred to as the “entourage effect”.

The answer

Topical products that contain cannabinoids like Cannabidiol(CBD) and Cannabigerol(CBG) are legal in Spain, as long as they contain less than 0.2% Tetrahydrocannabinol(THC), which is guaranteed in all of our products.

All of our packaging is made from recyclable and/or recycled matierals. We try let nothing go to waste, even our outer box is made from 100% hemp paper! Wherever possible, we purchase materials with local origins to reduce our carbon footprint.
